Co-founder & Head of Design
With a background in graphic design and art direction, specialized in digital product design, Anaïs Balmey has built her career at the intersection of brand and product.
She began her career in Canada, where she spent three years at a communications agency, working with a wide range of organizations (startups, large corporations, and public institutions). Working closely with early-stage startups in particular, she developed strong expertise in building brands from scratch: visual identity, landing pages, and first versions of digital products.
In parallel, she spent over five years working as a freelance designer. She has covered the full spectrum of design needs: visual identity, digital assets, photography, print, and product design, with a growing specialization in brand systems and digital product experiences.
Her work is deeply driven by a strong focus on user journeys. For her, design is not only about aesthetics: it is about making complex experiences simple, fluid, and intuitive. Every interface and every visual element is designed as part of a larger system, ensuring coherence and continuity across the entire experience.
At Hublyd, she first designed a strong and distinctive brand identity, before co-building the product experience and application designs. Through UX workshops and UI component design, she contributes to building a platform that is both intuitive and scalable.
